Sony and Waste Management Recycle America start eCycling nationwide
To help consumers recycle and dispose of electronic devices in an environmentally sound manner, Sony and Waste Management Recycle America are working together in a national recycling program for consumer electronics. The Sony Take Back Recycling Program, the first national recycling initiative to involve both a major electronics manufacturer and a national waste management company, allows consumers to recycle all Sony-branded products for no fee at 75 eCycling drop-off centers throughout the U.S. As the program expands, the number of drop-off centers will increase to at least 150 sites within a year, with at least one location in every state.
The program also allows consumers to mail in their electronic devices to select Waste Management Recycle America locations and provides the option to have other manufacturers' products recycled for a fee.
A complete list of WM Recycle America eCycling drop-off centers can be found at www.wm.com/sony/ or by calling 877-439-2795.
